MY JOB TITLE MEANS I… I am responsible for delivery of end-to-end bookkeeping, preparation of financial statements, GST filings, processing of payrolls and filing CPF and corporate tax filings.

Jean Ho, Talent Coordinator, Accela Talent

MY JOB TITLE MEANS I... am responsible for sourcing and identifying talents for clients. My role includes posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and assisting with offer letters and background checks.

WHAT I AM MOST EXCITED ABOUT MY NEW ROLE IS… learning new skills and meeting new people! I am also excited to assist hiring managers in finding their perfect match and helping candidates to find their perfect roles.

MY JOB TITLE MEANS I... may silently correct your grammar, or make a viral scene in public on your behalf, positively of course. My phone may vibrate 24/7 but I will guarantee you your phone will only buzz whenever necessary, from 9 to 6pm. 

WHAT I AM MOST EXCITED ABOUT MY NEW ROLE IS… hustling with the team till our minds are muffled. When that happens, I look forward to making or buying a good cup of milk coffee (although lactose intolerant) or cheers to a glass of sparkling wine, so we can spark some joy while learning, inspiring one another and huddle together to think of ideas for our clients. 

IN MY FREE TIME YOU’LL FIND ME… on TikTok, Facebook and Instagram looking at food-related content and planning for my next cafe date with my loved ones. I have an unabashed loved affair with all forms of milk tea and coffee. If I am not dreaming of my ideal weekend, I will definitely be dreaming of my next travel destination! 

Joshner De Guzman, Communications Coordinator, Accela Communications

MY JOB TITLE MEANS I… assist with the handling of different accounts, helping with media relations and the creation of PR materials as well as supporting events/meetings via ad hoc taskings.

WHAT I AM MOST EXCITED ABOUT MY NEW ROLE IS… being able to assist in organising media tastings for sure, who doesn’t love anything to do with food! But more than that, not having much practical knowledge and experience in the PR field other than the modules I took in school, I am really looking forward to learning from everyone, being exposed to the different processes/aspects of PR and being able to contribute to the team in any way I can.

IN MY FREE TIME YOU’LL FIND ME… always listening to music! I try to spend my free time with my friends and it is mostly going to the gym, playing basketball or getting a good supper in together! If not, you will catch me watching Netflix/Anime and most recently, getting into audiobooks.

MY JOB TITLE MEANS I... support the Finance team with operational finance and administration services such as account reconciliations, payroll processing, and recording of expenses.

WHAT I AM MOST EXCITED ABOUT MY NEW ROLE IS… learning more about the real-world applications of accounting theory.

IN MY FREE TIME YOU’LL FIND ME… watching shows on Netflix and Disney+. I love watching movies and sitcoms!

MY JOB TITLE MEANS I… am the middle-man between the Accela clients and the media, helping out with media coverage reports and press releases and hosting media tastings.

I AM EXCITED TO JOIN THE ACCELA TEAM BECAUSE… they are the perfect balance between working hard and playing hard. They exemplify the work culture that I have been striving for and they are such a lovely group of people.
