Joe Yan Low, Communications Coordinator, Accela Communications

MY JOB TITLE MEANS I… work closely with clients to aid and provide them with PR services and campaigns to help them bring their message across, through the media to consumers.

WHAT I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO MOST ABOUT MY ROLE IS… all of the experiences that I will be exposed to and all the new people I will meet! I look forward to making friends with people around me and hope that I can hopefully bring value to the team.

MY FAVOURITE FOOD IS… I can’t decide on a particular food, so if I were to give a category, it would be desserts!

MY JOB TITLE MEANS I… am an ambassador to my clients on and off work, always finding opportunities to share their stories with media, friends, and even strangers. I’m consistently thinking of fresh ideas to help brands stand out from the crowd and act as a pillar of support for my teammates in all that they do.

I AM EXCITED ABOUT JOINING THE ACCELA TEAM BECAUSE… I 100% vibe with our clients; after my first day at work, it seems the people of Accela too! But more than that, I can’t wait to meet new people, build relationships with clients and media alike, and brainstorm, hustle, and create memories with the team.

IN MY FREE TIME YOU’LL FIND ME… Grabbing a drink with my friends, hosting dinner parties at home, or bringing my kid out for an adventure.

Michelle Ruddenklau, Content Manager, Accela Communications

MY JOB TITLE MEANS I... work across the team and accounts for Accela Communications to provide copy editing and consultancy where it is needed.

WHAT I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO MOST ABOUT MY ROLE IS… getting back into work after a short break, and getting back into the bar and hospitality PR scene following the pandemic. Also, as I am relatively new to Singapore, it is exciting to be learning to use my skills in a new landscape and I am very lucky to be part of a great team here who can teach me how things work Singapore style.

THE NEXT PLACE I WANT TO TRAVEL IS… hopefully to Perth in Australia in February for my wedding anniversary - an area of Oz I haven’t visited yet.
