Back in Business: Singapore’s MICE Industry Makes its Return

Singapore's MICE industry is vital to the country's economy, providing over 34,000 jobs pre-pandemic and catering to an international audience. The pandemic spurred Singapore to act swiftly, leading to a shift in event models and the digitalisation of the industry, creating a demand for event professionals with technical expertise.

2023 marks Singapore's first full year of MICE industry events without restrictions. The calendar of events is impressive and varied, sure to pique the interest of entrepreneurs and professionals alike. Mega-events are back in full swing, showcasing Singapore's potential as a leading MICE destination.

An excellent example of the potential success of these events is Blockchain Fest Singapore, which attracted over 4,800 attendees, including leading blockchain experts and enthusiasts from around the world. With its emphasis on safety and security, the conference allowed attendees to showcase their blockchain innovations, share knowledge, and connect with others.
